Decorating the tree and my Cousin Krystal

For the past 10 years we have had the same tree. A 5 ft non pre lit tree. I loved this tree though. It was so simple and the kids loved it of course. Well I found a new tree at a garage sale for $20. Its pre lit and 7 ft. I also bought new ornaments. I was excited to decorate. The kids were excited also. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

My cousin Krystal from up North was in Corona and came to visit with her new baby, Kennedy.
 Aren't they both beautiful!
This is my Dad's brother's daughter.

 Kennedy - 1 month and Carter - 4 months

 Carter fell asleep with Krystal.
I love Krystal. I have been the closest with her out of all my cousins. It was so nice visiting together.

Thanksgiving Feast and Academic Excellence

Carter often falls asleep on the stairs and on our way to bed we put him to bed.
At school Carter had a Thanksgiving feast. They sang cute songs and he was an Indian. He wanted to bring pumpkin spice muffins and brownies.

 My cute boy!

Jocelynn got an award for Academic Excellence. She is doing very well in school.

Grandma Lane and Jaxon

Grandma Lane lives in La Habra now. We go see her every other week. I love my time with her at the park together.

I love this boy so much. He makes me so happy. I want to hold him all day!

He moved to his crib at 3 months. He started sleeping much better. He likes his mobile also. He talks to it.

A Day with Dad on the train

James got a new job with Southern Ca Gas Co. An exciting time for our family. He had a little time off before he started his new job. He was now going to be riding the train to LA so he thought he would take it one day to see what to do and get comfortable. He took Carter with him and Carter had a great  time. The picked up a donut and ate it on the train.
James said they walked around LA for a little bit and got some chicken nuggets for the way home. A homeless man walked by James and Carter and put his fist in the air and said yeah brother! Carter put his fist back in the air and said "yeah!" lol I thought that was funny.

I love this pic. It shows the excitement we all felt about James starting this new job. It was a rough couple years with lay offs at his old job. We know Heavenly Father has a plan for our family and we are grateful for this blessing. He will be working in the tall building on the 20th floor.

Carter had a great day with his Dad!

Jaxon 3 months and Jocelynn playing Basketball

Time has flown and the 3rd time around I have to say that I love every second of it. I really do. With my first I was stressed didn't enjoy it. With Carter, I enjoyed it a little more. With Jaxon oh my, I'm tired but I love having a baby. I love him so much. He gets kisses from everyone all day. Carter wore this shirt at 3 months so at first I thought I uploaded pics of Carter. At 3 months, he still gets up in the night. He is in his crib in his own bedroom now. He drinks breastmilk but I have given him a couple ounces of formula if I don't have enough milk and he wants a little more. It's nice that he will take both. He smiles whenever Carter and Jocelynn talk to him. He gets excited when he hears a high pitch voice. He gets quiet when there is music.

I put him in this bouncer but he is still too small. Carter loved to bounce him though.

Jocelynn started basketball and had her first game on Saturday. She loves it and had a ton of fun!

Carter is always sleeping at random places when we go to bed. One night I got home church. James said he put Jaxon on our bed for his last nap of the night. I went upstairs and Carter laid next to Jaxon and was sleeping with him. I thought it was sweet but it scared me a little bit.

This was one Sunday morning. It looks like they are putting weight on Jaxon but they aren't.
