Happy Birthday Carter!

Carter turned one on Saturday. It's hard for me to believe a year has gone by. It really went by fast. We went to the park for his birthday. I didn't get pictures of everyone there but I'm grateful for everyone that came. The theme was Sesame Street Babies. His hat said "1st Birthday!"
Cookie monster cupcakes, blue frosting!

Carter was not interested. . . at all in the cake. I was surprised because at home he goes at it with food. We did it the next day at home and cut him a piece and he loved it.
Serious boy wondering why everyone was staring at him.

I brought about 50 water balloons. The kids loved throwing them at Tyler, Jason and James.
Grandpa, Grandma and Carter
My mom helped a ton with Carter that day. I was talking with everyone and she was feeding him. I was really grateful!
We love you Carter and have brought us so much happiness!

Melinda and Paytin going down the slide
Jocelynn loved it. She only wanted to jump. She was scared of the slides. I carried her up the slides as she cried but when she went down it said "That was fun mom" and then went down it by herself. You can tell by that smile she had a blast! She is very close with these 2 girls. I wish I had more pictures of them when they were babies together. Makes me sad I don't. She says often that she wishes they were her sisters. I tell her that they are like sisters.
Jocelynn took this last picture of Carter!

Cool Cuts for Kids

Carter has needed a haircut. Jocie needed a trim also so we got her one while we were there. She got the princess chair and got to watch Cinderella. She was pretty excited.

This is the after picture when he got his haircut.

Family

The kids played a lot at the house and had a good time.

Jocelynn loved sleeping with Jordyn every night!
We went on a double date to Cheesecake Factory with my sister and her husband. We loved having them here and can't wait to see them again!

Afterwards, we went to a grass area and had lunch. It was so fun and the weather was great. Afterwards, Jocelynn went to Aunt Jamie and her family to Jason and Rachel's house. They went bowling and spent the night. I missed her but she had a great time with her cousins.
