One more . . .

I forgot to add this picture to the last post. You can tell we are in an intense game. Jocelynn is in between us but you can't see her.  As you can see, I came out the winner :) James was winning the whole time but I turned it up a little. 

Happy Birthday James!

James birthday was yesterday (27th). We had a great day. He left work early and we went down to Disneyland. It was such a beautiful day and no one was there. At Disneyland this year anyone can get in free on their birthday. Since we have a pass we got to choose something else and we chose a $70 gift card! We are so excited. We didn't spend it that day but can't wait to go on a shopping spree.

I think Jocelynn thinks the tram is a ride. She loves going on it.

We went on the submarine and she loved the fish. Jocelynn has always been an observer. In the submarine she would not take her eye off of this window. We were cracking up. She was so into it.

After Disneyland, we went down to the beach and ate at "Smokey Mo's BBQ." One of our favorites.

I made a big cupcake for James. I made the same frosting "Sprinkles" uses and it was so good. I love you James. You are such a wonderful father and husband. I'm so grateful you were born into this world!!!!

More Disneyland!

Jocelynn and I went to Disneyland Wednesday with Melinda, Rylin, and Jordyn. We had so much fun and it was perfect weather. It started to rain for a couple minutes but then stopped. Jocelynn cracked me up because she liked holding the umbrella. We went on a lot of rides!! Jocelynn didn't really like Minnie! We had so much fun. THanks for going with us Melinda!

Thanks to many people for motivation, I have started to consistently work out. I have always loved to excercise but I haven't been able to find that balance since Jocelynn. I had the desire but could not get a schedule of doing it. I would miss a week and then start up again and then miss a couple more weeks. I could tell my mood was changing, I wasn't as happy and my energy was low.  After months of complaining about not working out, I finally did something about it. I tried setting my alarm at 545am and go work out before Jocelynn got up but it was not realistic. 4 days a week I've been going to the gym in the morning and Jocelynn goes to Kids Klub and every Saturday I have committed myself to hiking Skyline. 

The Todd family motivated me in wanting to hike and Laurie and Rachel introduced me to Skyline. It is so beautiful and a hard climb!! I love it and we have been going every week. I hope to continue . . .I will continue! :) I haven't felt this good in a long time.  My goal is by the end of the year to be able to run it all the way up!!!

This is a review for all those considering to buy a carpet cleaner! My recommendation is to get one!! I've been wanting to get one for a long time now. We thought about getting someone to come clean them but thought we might as well get our own because it costs a lot. Since Jocelynn, my carpets have become a lot more dirtier, especially the walk way! We bought this as a family gift. I can't even tell you how excited I was to use this thing. My friend has one and recommended this carpet cleaner. On Amazon there is like 756 reviews and rated 4 1/2 stars out of 5!! 

AFTER

The results were amazing! I was concerned to use soap on the carpet because soap attracts more dirt so I only used a couple Tablespoons and boiled water.  My carpets look brand new and didn't even need to use a stain remover!! 

Happy New Year!!

My sister just posted these pictures and thought I would also. Celebrating the New Year was a lot of fun. My mom had hats and instruments and I got glow sticks and poppers from the 99 cent store. At 8:30pm we had a countdown and went outside and the kids blew their horns and yelled "Happy New Year!" They loved it and so did we. It was fun to see Jocelynn get so involved with the kids, she wanted to be right in there.

Time passes by too fast with a child

Time definitely passes by a lot faster with kids.  The time is

spent feeding, holding, playing, rocking, teaching, etc and trying to

treasure every moment but no matter how much you try to enjoy

every second, the time still passes by so fast!

Happiest Place on Earth!!

When my sister came down we went to Disneyland and had such a great time!! James and I got  annual Disneyland passes and are so excited! I've never gone to Disneyland much so we are really excited this next year to have good time at Disneyland. James and I already went on Monday, after he got off of work.

I went with a couple friends on Friday. This is Hailee, she is such a cutie. Jocelynn and her were having fun going up and down the stairs. We had to stop to take a break so they could run around.

Ashton is the happiest baby. If anyone smiles at him, he will give a smile right back. He liked the carousel. That is Jocelynn's favorite ride. She sees the carousel and reaches for it. SHe even lets out a scream . . .or two when we get off. 

By the end of the night the girls were tired but you wouldn't know with this shot! Jocelynn was so hyper, it was funny. When we got home she was running up and down the hall but as soon as I put her in the crib, she was out! Thanks Laurie and Jen for going, we had a great time!
