Fun at the Park!

We went to the park and BBQ'd cheeseburgers with some friends that live in the same complex as us. We thought BBQ'ing wasn't going to happen because the Boy Scouts took up all the BBQ's and tables for an event but they were willing to share.
Dave and James cooked some wonderful burgers.
The Boy Scouts shared their cupcakes and we all had a blue mouth. Here is Lily's blue tongue.
Jocelynn's favorite activity at the park is this swing!

Whheee!!!

Thanks for a fun day at the park!
They both love the swing. They can be in the swing for a long time.

This is Jocelynn's smile when she is really excited!! She wrinkles her nose, squints her eyes, and raises her eyebrows. The funniest thing about that is when I was little I would wrinkle my nose when I would smile. She thinks the swing is so fun!

Cal Baptist University

May 9, James will be starting school again at Cal Baptist University. He is very excited and we are so proud of him. He will be working on his Masters in Business Administration. We attended the new student orientation.

It is a beautiful campus and the best part is it is 10 minutes away from home. It'll be fun to meet together for lunch. He will be busy this next year.

I LOVE my grandma!

My grandma is the most amazing person I have ever known. She is such a strong woman that I admire. Sunday, James and I went to her house for dinner and to spend time with her. She is 83 years old and loves life, laughing, and the Lakers. She loves to see Jocelynn!

Perfect Beach Weather

We went to the beach with my sister and brother in law on Saturday. It was a beautiful day! We rented this fun bike and walked down Balboa Fun Zone. It was a great day.
We stopped for a banana split. . .yummy!
First time Jocelynn has been in a swimsuit
This is the bike we rented for an hour! Jocelynn liked the bell in the front. She was actually good at ringing it.

We had such a great time taking this bike down the boardwalk. Keven was the only one that did not get his foot caught. We can't wait to do it again!

95 Percentile?

I went to the doctor's Tuesday for Jocelynn's 6 month check up. She looks small to me so I was surprised that the doctor said she weighed 19 pounds 10 ounces and was in the 95 percentile. The more I thought about it, the more I knew there must have been a mix up.  I went back today for them to weigh her again because it did not seem right.
The nursed weighed her again and she was 15 pounds 4 ounces.  I'm not sure if the nurse didn't read it right or the scale was off. The mother's intuition was right!
